We got into the signup line Friday night , and while waiting , engaged in conversation with other riders , hailing from surprisingly varied and far-reaching locations . Apparently , the lure of Blackwater had reached far and wide . This circumstance was enhanced to an ever-greater degree by the presence and participation of Rick Sieman and his gang from Dirt Bike Magazine , who rode the event multiple times , and wrote extensively of their experiences in DB .
