Once you have reached this relaxed state ( usually after about 10 minutes ) you can begin to visualize your best self in action .
FOCUS ON THE FOLLOWING POINTS
More importantly , a Stanford study showed that “ complaining actually shrinks the hippocampus [ source ].”
Now , of course , I ’ m not saying that you ’ re a complainer – far from it . However , even the most positive people are guilty of falling into negative thought patterns . When this occurs enough , YOU CAN LITERALLY REWIRE YOURSELF TO EXPECT NEGATIVE THINGS TO OCCUR ( WHICH CREATES ANXIETY ).
This expectation plays a role in your subtle behavior , which compounds to ‘ manifesting ’ the result you ’ re expecting . For example , thinking that the next customer will leave you a bad review might stop you from publishing a new product for sale simply because you ’ ve already concluded you ’ ll be rejected . Sometimes , even if you push through , you still get the bad review which only reinforces that belief and continues the network of negativity .
STARTING YOUR DAY WITH YOUR BEST SELF
The following technique I ’ m going to be showing you today will help you start your day from the mindset of your best self . It may not necessarily remain the dominant mindset throughout

the day , but at least the beginning of your day started on the right foot . And each time you practice it , the mindset will continue longer into the day .
In this technique – you can simply sit and meditate on the following concept . You can also do some breathwork to help get you in the right frame of mind . Essentially , you want to reach a deeply relaxing state of self-awareness .

1What are you doing in your daily life ? Are you meditating ? Reading books ? How ’ s your Monday look ? How about your Tuesday ? Try to go into as much detail about your week , everything from exercise to entertainment , work , and family – the more detailed the better . Picture each thing from the perspective of your best self and how you ’ d like your life to look . Dream big , there are no limits here !

2After you have explored

your future self ’ s weekly routine , it ’ s time to imagine that you are your future self right now . In the vivid image you have constructed , see if you can step into the body of your future self . See if you can feel how it feels to be doing things as your future self would . Repeat all of the activities , but really push yourself to “ experience ” the future scenarios .

3After a while of ‘ being your future

self ,’ it ’ s time to come back to your present moment . However , before doing this – as your future self , send

information back to your present self . Whatever resources you may need , whatever information that will help you overcome your current problems . It ’ s okay if you don ’ t know what it is [ yet ] – just trust that your Creative Unconscious will bring you the solutions to the problems you are facing .

4Identify one activity of your future self that you can replicate now . During the visualization , you probably identified some minor activities that you ’ d like to do irrespective of your best self . This could be something as small as
