When I create my ads , I set them up with pictures and a call to action . I never boost posts , unless it ’ s on Instagram . And I create ads that target my email list , website traffic , Instagram followers , and their lookalike audiences . I have the best results when I also offer a discount code on the first box or a printable in exchange for their email . SOME MONTHS ARE BETTER THAN OTHERS , BUT I ’ VE HAD AN AVERAGE OF 20 % INCREASE IN MY MONTHLY SUBSCRIBERS .
Also in 2019 , my friend Emma and I started a planner community in Southern California called Plan to Inspire . We wanted to gather other planner enthusiasts like us to share our love for planners , to plan together , have fun at parties , and meet new friends . Because only we , “ planner people ” understand each other . So far , we have had several casual planner parties and we had an event planned for March 2020 , but COVID hit a week before and we had to reschedule for 2021 . Since then , we haven ’ t done any events but we have so many ideas already lined up for when we are allowed to gather again . fun together — it fills up our hearts !
The Fabulous Planner is growing so much every year , I get excited just thinking about what else can happen in the future . We just opened up a small retail space inside a marketplace in San Diego so people can now buy in real life ! Opening a retail space wasn ’ t in my plans , but when an opportunity comes you have to grab it ! So , I did !
ANOTHER BIG GOAL I HAVE FOR 2021 is to start wholesaling our planners and accessories . This has been a goal of mine for quite some time , but I ’ m taking my time to prepare myself and learn as much as I can to do it right .
Our customers and new planner friends love when we plan casual parties ; our tickets sell out in just a few minutes every time ! It ’ s crazy ! We only advertise organically on our Instagram and Facebook , and we have never tried paid advertising for these events because our tickets sell out in minutes .
But what really matters to us is being part of this community and seeing so many of them becoming friends for life and having so much
