Most recently Dot moved to St. Johnsbury where she resided with her niece Nancy Daniels and her husband Wayne.
Dorothy enjoyed knitting, crocheting, puzzles, hummingbirds, socializing and attending the Riverside Enrichment Program

Dot is survived by her son Wade and wife Donna Lee of Bloomfield, Vt., son Mark and wife Patricia of Allentown, Pa., son Lyle of Wisconsin, daughter Judy Begin of Chicopee, Mass., son Pardon Jameson of Berlin, son Robert of Colebrook; 16 grandchildren and several greatgrandchildren. She is also survived by brothers William and wife Edwina of Columbia, Kenneth
At her request there will be no public service. A celebration of her life will be held by her family at a later date. Arrangements made by Bailey Funeral Home in Lancaster.

LUC RANCOURT
ST. JOHNSBURY, Vt.– Luc Rancourt, 57, of Memorial Dr. in St. Johnsbury, Vt., and native of West Stewartstown, passed away at sunrise on Thursday morning, Feb. 16, 2017 after a two year battle with A. L. S., Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig’ s Disease. His faith was such that he knew he was going to a better place.
He was born in West Stewartstown on May 24, 1959, one of six children born to Victor and Rachel( Hebert) Rancourt. He graduated from Canaan Memorial High School in 1978. His father passed away in 1995.
His family will remember Luc as a kind, gentle family man. Sports played an important part in his younger years; he was a 1,000 point scorer for the Canaan Memorial basketball team. When the kids were little he loved to take them ice fishing and
coached his sons’ basketball teams.
Luc was a finish carpenter by trade and enjoyed working with his brothers. Recently Luc had worked for Northeast Kingdom Human Services as a community integration specialist. He loved life, loved to laugh and tease, and really loved to play Texas holdem at The Breslin Center and the Lyndon American Legion. For the last six years he was a seasonal camper at the Groton Forest Road Campground.
He is survived by his mother, Rachel Rancourt of West Stewartstown; his loving and attentive partner Lucy McKee of St. Johnsbury; two of his three children: Kyla Meszkat and husband Bryan of Elmore, Vt., Clint Rancourt and wife Joshlynne of Island Pond, Vt.; son Travis predeceased him in 2009; three grandchildren, Maximillian Meszkat, Brielle and Colton Rancourt; Lucy’ s three children: Joel and Aaron Collins( wife Gerry), Amber Adams( husband Sam) and their children Sebastien, Ava and Kimari, and Benson( who loved his Pepere); three brothers: Marc Rancourt and wife Joanne of West Stewartstown, Jules Rancourt and wife Judy of Pittsburg, Ronald Rancourt and wife Katherine of Virginia Beach, Va.; two sisters: Carmen Riley and husband Ross, Celine Fuller and husband Larry both of Canaan, Vt.; numerous nieces and nephews as well as the extended Rancourt family.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated in West Stewartstown on
Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017 at 11 a. m. at St. Albert’ s Church, 10 Church St. Burial will be at a later date at the St. Albert’ s Cemetery in West Stewartstown. There will be no visiting hours.

NORTH STRATFORD – Elizabeth M. Cote, 77, of North Stratford, passed away Monday evening, Feb. 20, 2017, at the Coos County Nursing Hospital in W. Stewartstown surrounded by members of her loving family.
She was born in Norton Mills, Vt., on June 22, 1939, a daughter to the late Dennis and Lorena( Potter) Gaudette.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Elizabeth was a nurse and worked for Genesis Healthcare in Lancaster prior to retiring. She loved puzzles and word searches, and she enjoyed country and western music. She was a huge fan of Elvis. A hard-working provider, Elizabeth always thought of her family and others before she thought of herself. She was always welcoming someone into her home. She loved time with her kids and grandchildren, and she loved to go on family picnics and travel to Old Orchard Beach in Maine. She was a communicant at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in North Stratford.
Elizabeth leaves behind her six children, Theresa Marchand and husband Michel of North Stratford, Mary Cote of Colebrook, Rosalie King and partner David Parker of Pittsburg, Donna Cote of Thornton, Lori Cote and partner John Chadwick of Lancaster, and Hector Cote, Jr. of Berlin; five brothers, John Gaudette of Colebrook, Leo Gaudette of Tilton, Wilfred Gaudette of North Stratford, Henry Gaudette of Gorham, and William Gaudette of Derry; a sister, Pauline Stohl of Meredith; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
