SAWYERVILLE SEED FAIR
Saturday, the Chronicle visited the 4th annual Sawyerville Seed Fair, held at the Ramana Complex – the former Crete ' s Hotel. The fun all kicked off at around 9 a. m. with Chantal Bolduc, President of the Sawyerville Community Garden – which organizes this event – Vee Languors, active member, and Jean- Sebastien Bachand, owner of the Ramana Complex, welcoming all to the very informative event. People learned all about the many seeds there are, and how to plant them and care for them. This show also had a booth from the Eaton Corner Museum with Jackie Hyman explaining all the new things that are coming in the spring to the museum. We also came in contact with Sawyerville artist Madeline Labonte She was displaying her handmade cards depicting local scenes. The Sawyerville Community Garden was also on hand with President Chantal Bolduc explaining how this special garden works, and events held at the garden year-round.
