Board Meeting Minutes
Secretary ’ s Report : Liz Bauer Motion made by Julia Northwick , seconded by Ann Goebel to approve the October 29th , 2023 , Board Meeting Minutes . Motion carried unanimously . Motion made by Paul Hansen , seconded by Julie Gintner to approve the October 29 th , 2023 General Meeting Minutes . Motion carried unanimously .
Treasurer ’ s Report : Arlene Bayer
As of 11 / 28 / 2023 Checking $ 119,132.05 CD ’ s-Minnco CU $ 67,367.76
$ 186,499.81
Balance Sheet and Income Statement was presented , YTD Net Income ( Loss ) is $ 159,182.87 and LYTD Net Income ( Loss ) was ($ 22,800.01 ). Motion made by Amber Duncanson , seconded by Lori Taylor , to accept the Treasurer ’ s Report subject to audit from November 28 th , 2023 . Motion carried unanimously .
Correspondence : There has been one 2024 Club Membership Renewal in the amount of $ 80 from Orchard Rangers Saddle Club . Thank you read from Taylor Jutz for her WSCA scholarship received . James received a thank you from Karen Whitaker , he will share at the January Board meeting .
2024 Committee Chair Approvals :
President James recommends the following Committee Chairs for approval : Championship Horse Show-James Duenow Computer-Jake Flodquist Drills & Squares-Marlys Mooney Futurity-Josh Tjosaas Historian-Tim Wampfler Judges-Lynn-Ellen St Martin Marketing & Promotions-Rachel Duenow Nominating-Ann Goebel Procedures-Sandy Strube Publicity-Lori Taylor Royalty-Bridget Behrns Rulebook-Cindy Ladd Safety-Corey Swartout Scholarship- Julie Gintner Motion was made by Ann Goebel , seconded by Lori Taylor , to approve the 2024 Committee Chairs as recommended . Motion carried unanimously .
Committee Chairs were asked to form their committees and start work on budgets to present at January 3 rd Board meeting .
