2025 WSCA Scholarship Recipient Thank Yous

WSCA continued their support of our members by awarding 4 scholarships in the amount of $ 1500 to members who are furthering their education. I would like to extend a thank-you to WSCA judges Ben Sparks, Bonita Peterson, Lynn Ellen St. Martin, Ann Graney Hoffman, Julia Olstad and Joy Ratkowski for supporting the scholarship program this year though donations received from their judging the 2024 Champ show.
Also I would like to thank all the Saddle Clubs that purchased a coliseum box for sitting during the 2024 Championship show as this income goes toward the scholarships. New this year I would like to thank the CH Robinson Foundation for their donation to the scholarship program.

Dear WSCA,
I would like to thank WSCA and its members for selecting me as one of this year’ s scholarship recipients. I am currently a biomedical engineering student at the University of Connecticut, and this scholarship will support my education as I work towards my goal of entering the medical device industry. WSCA has been a huge part of my life, from spending weekends at horse shows with my family and friends, to making friends from all around the state. Some of my favorite memories have come from competing at Champ Show and the Minnesota State Fair. These experiences have shaped who I am today. Even while I am so far from home in Connecticut, it means so much to know that the WSCA community continues to support me. It is incredibly meaningful to receive encouragement from an organization that has played such an important role in my life.
