Hello Everyone!
I’ m Hilary Vetse and proud to serve as your 2025 – 2026 WSCA Princess. I ride with Storm Quarter Horse Saddle Club in Princeton, MN. Originally from Milbank, SD, I’ m currently relocating to Pine City, Minnesota. I got remarried in April and together we have one son and eight daughters, which everyone jokingly calls our Brady Bunch.
This summer was very eventful with many horse events packed in throughout the summer. I was able to share my horse, Channing, with my daughter Brooke so she could finish her final year of 4‐H. Heading into the Champ Show, my horse was coming out of an injury, and we only had one week to prepare for the Champ Show. I wasn’ t sure what to expect, but we ended up placing in four of our five events in Western and English events. He surprised me, and this ended up being the best Champ Show I have competed in yet.
After a long week of showing and competing in the royalty contest, it was time for coronation on Sunday at the Champ Show. I was so excited to have been crowned the Princess for the 2025‐2026 season. All the amazing ladies I met through this process will forever change my life. After all the dust settled and finishing out the Champ Show handing out awards, I have taken a moment to take this whole experience in and look back on all the wonderful memories I made through the process.
