Don ’ t miss our Valentine tea !
Just look at this fun table in the photo . Our members and guests were greeted at their tables with those cute snowmen on Jan . 8 . Our theme “ From Frosty to Flowers ” featured Bauman ’ s Farm and Garden as they gave us information on several shade plants . They also invited us to a shade basket class on Saturday , Jan . 20 where we could learn more or better yet select plants for our own baskets that they will plant and take care of in their greenhouse
HUBER until it is time to place in our own gardens . Another class will be held Feb . 10 for sun flowers . Just give them a call to register for the classes . What a delightful way to share a cold dreary January day .
If you think the snowmen were cute , we also have special plans for Feb . 12 . It ’ s Party Time will cater a Valentine tea while the dueling pianos of Roger and Nancy Wilhite will perform for us . They are always a big hit and you won ’ t want to miss this special time to celebrate with your friends . Reservation deadline is Thursday , Feb . 8 at noon .
On March 11 “ The Difference ” from Lake Oswego will present some new ideas for our personal wardrobe and care .
The board and committees have fun being creative and organizing these wonderful lunches . We have also made many new friends . New members are encouraged to be involved as they can bring fresh ideas for us to discover . May will be here soon and we will need some new ladies to help us for the 2024-25 year . Please consider this and let me or another board member know you are interested . For now , I will close with a Valentine wish for you : May life be joyful and love be true , may friends be many and cares be few , and may your day be full of all the good things you so deserve . Happy Valentine ’ s Day !
