Another important area of activity for Tehran Securities Exchange in 2024 has been strengthening and expansion of sustainability-related concepts. This year, for the first time, TSE Sustainability Report was published, reflecting our commitment to transparency, social responsibility, the environment, and corporate governance issues. Also, in this regard, an international webinar on Sustainability Disclosure Standards was held online in cooperation with the Sustainable Stock Exchanges (SSE) Initiative (a subsidiary of the United Nations), which indicates the high importance of environmental, social, and governance issues in the future policies and strategies of the Exchange.
Understanding the need to keep pace with new global trends and respond to emerging investors’ expectations, Tehran Securities Exchange intends to continue the path of innovation in the digital financial sector. In this regard, in-depth and extensive studies and investigations have been initiated on digital assets, crypto-funds, and asset tokenization. These areas are considered the future of financial markets in the world, and we are also trying to complete these studies and create the necessary infrastructure to pave the way for TSE to enter this innovative and attractive field.
We hope to shortly witness the implementation of these projects and the provision of diverse and innovative services to market investors in TSE.
