The year 2014 can be named one of the most fruitful and active in the
history of NASDAQ OMX Armenia.

The year 2014 can be named one of the most
fruitful and active in the history of NASDAQ OMX
Armenia (NOA). Starting from the beginning of the
year a number of important events occurred. One
of the most remarkable was the start to service
transactions in foreign securities through the link
with Clearstream banking Luxemburg.
In February, 2014 NOA held an important
International Conference co-organized with EBRD
and the Central Bank of Armenia. The conference
aimed to stimulate further development of the
financial infrastructure, and attract both issuers and
investors of the Armenian capital market.
Starting with the listing and trading of IFC and
EBRD bonds we recorded significant rise in
corporate bonds and stock market volumes. Stock
market saw more than 19 times increase of value
traded and amounted to USD 60.58 million which
exceeded the total value of past 13 years, since the
establishment of stock exchange. Corporate bonds
trading amounted to USD 10.17 million, performing
more than 2 times increase compared with the
previous year.

It is worth mentioning that last year, after
continues work together with the Government and
the Central Bank the Central Depository of Armenia
(CDA), Daughter Company of NOA launched second
pillar pension system in Armenia.
In December, 2014 CDA became a full member of
the Association of National Numbering Agencies
(ANNA). Since the partnership with ANNA in
June, 2009 CDA has assigned more than 1400
identification numbers.
