Africa and Amazon Welcome to the latest issue of FD Insights. 2016 is well underway and First Distribution has hit the ground running. We’re excited to be making real strides in our expansion into Africa this year, overseen by our new Africa manager, Brett Stevens, an industry veteran with vast experience in doing business on this continent. You can read a bit more about him and his thoughts on Africa in this issue. We’re also proud to have signed an agreement with Amazon AWS recently, and will be focusing on growing this brand within our business operations this year. We have hired Russell Warne, our new Amazon AWS Product and Sales Specialist to this effect, and as a business, are truly convinced regarding the AWS range of products. As I’m sure you’re aware, cloud is now a huge part of the IT landscape, and to be aligned with such a dominant brand as AWS is something which we’re very excited about. As such, we’ve focused heavily on AWS in this issue, as we endeavour to increase awareness around our partnership with them, as well as bring the multiple benefits of AWS cloud to you and your customers.
