When agriculture teachers in Missouri pleaded for an updated
curriculum, FCS Financial teamed up with the Department of
Elementary and Secondary Education and Vivayic, a learning solutions
company. The new curriculum—web-based and available for free on
the Missouri FFA Association website—was unveiled during
the Missouri Vocational Agriculture Teachers Association
(MVATA) Conference in July of 2014.
But perhaps nowhere else is FCS Financial’s commitment
to the next generation of farmers more apparent than in the
YBS program. A product of the Farm Credit Act of 1971, the
YBS program was developed to give a hand-up to Young,
Beginning, and Small farmers to help ensure the future of
