FCS Financial: One Hundred Years July 2016 | Page 129
Beyond the features FCS Financial’s customers need to grow and
operate their business, two major considerations went into the design
of My Access Plus—security and ease of use. “Even though we’re not
a depository,” said Rick, “security is our number one requirement in
developing technology.” As for ease of use, “If we’ve done a good job
of developing the portal, it shouldn’t need much training,” said Rick.
“It should be easy-to-use, virtually intuitive to the customer.”
From online to on the farm, there is little doubt the people of
FCS Financial are prepared to continue growing relationships and
creating opportunities for farmers across Missouri, making it possible
for them to meet the world’s demand for safe and wholesome food.
“We need to stay focused on doing the things we can do which will
help agriculture continue to grow,” said David Janish, “to be that
source of debt capital for those folks who need it, have the scale
and the scope to be able to meet the needs of our customers. As our
customers grow and change, the association’s going to have to grow
and change to meet those needs.” No doubt, they will.
