FCS Financial: One Hundred Years July 2016 | Page 101
At year end, Chairman of the Board James Nivens wrote, “The
year might not be over and in the books, but it would appear to be
quite the year for your association . . . a new CEO, two new board
members, new offices, three billion dollars in loans, and almost
15,000 members.”
FCS Financial presented $5,000 to Nodaway-Holt High School to rebuild portions
of the school following a tornado in 2014. An EF-0 tornado with winds up to 85
miles per hour hit the school in Graham, Missouri, blowing off the roofs from
both the main and vocational buildings and causing heavy rain damage to
classrooms. It was reported at least five tornados passed through the area that
evening. From left: Kathy DeVault (high school nurse), Ethan Sickles (high school
principal), Jeff Houts (FCS Financial), Clint Callow (FCS Financial), Lisa Troth (FCS
Financial), RoxAnn Waegele (FCS Financial), S teve Schniedermeyer (high school
ag instructor), and Karma Coleman (school district superintendent).
