Letter from the FCCSA Board of Directors Treasurer

FCCSA Owners:
Fall is around the corner and so is“ cooler” weather! With that, we get to save money on watering our yards, and using less A / C. FCCSA also saves money on utilities during the fall and winter.
We just completed our budget process for year 2026, which was time consuming but thorough. David Pella, our Executive Director, and Steve Wagner, our Accounting Lead, worked diligently to go through all line items and make adjustments and estimates for the upcoming year.

We are very happy to announce that we are able to maintain a“ no fee increase” stance for a second year in a row. Costs have gone up and others fees are going up also, but we have reallocated some funds to cover the increases. The City of Sugar Land increased water rates and garbage fees. We anticipate the revenue from the interest income on our required Reserve funds will help offset some of the utility expenses for the upcoming year. The 2026 budget was approved at the last Board meeting.
In October, we should notice an improvement in some of the landscaping areas, as fall colors will be planted in some of the neighborhood entrances. We will have also just completed our Fall Shred Day event which is always a big hit. National Nite Out is Tuesday, October 7th and that is also well attended in some of the neighborhoods. It’ s great to see the residents mingle with each other and have fun and get to know each other.
Our Board meetings are not very well attended – between 15 to 20 members unless there’ s something that folks are concerned about. These meetings are a great way to learn more about what the HOA is doing. We have a dialogue with the attendees and appreciate folks asking questions.
