Kayak Fun on Brooks Lake
Come have fun on Brooks Lake by checkingout a kayak at the Oyster Creek Boathouse located at 15910 Creekbend Drive, Sugar Land. The boathouse is open Saturdays and Sundays from April 12 through October 26.
Hours of operation:
• Saturdays & Sundays- 8 a. m.- 12 p. m. & 4 p. m.- 7 p. m.
• Memorial Day, July 4, and Labor Day- 8 a. m.-12 p. m. & 4 p. m.- 7 p. m.
You must be 21 years of age or older to check-out a kayak; rowers under 21 must be accompanied by an adult. There is no cost to check-out a kayak for FCCSA members. Must have a valid digital pool pass.
Adult and Youth Intro to Pickleball Small Group Lesson
When: Starting May 10 2nd Saturday of the month Group Size: Limit 6 Times: 9:00 am – 10:30 am Adult
10:30 am – 12:00 pm Youth
The instructor will have everything you need. Lessons held at the Lexington Colony Pickleball courts located at 1314 Sheffield Dr., Missouri City.

At kayak check-out you will be required to leave a driver ' s license and sign a liability form. Non-residents may rent a kayak by buying a pass at the FCCSA office. A daily oneuse pass is $ 10.00 per person with a season pass cost of $ 50.00 per person. Reservations are not accepted as kayaks are checked-out on a first come, first serve basis. Don ' t forget to bring along sun block and drinking water! There are no pets allowed in the kayaks. Life preservers are provided and must be worn by all participants.
