Interested in getting to know your neighbors or community a little better? Then we have a committee for you!
Consider volunteering your time to be your neighborhood’ s representative. The Neighborhood Representative Committee is a vital communication link between First Colony Community Services Association( FCCSA) and their neighborhoods. Each separate neighborhood may have up to three committee members representing each neighborhood. Committee members are expected to attend quarterly Neighborhood Representative Committee meetings that are organized by FCCSA Staff, review communications sent by the Association, and are encouraged to host their own neighborhood meetings to share information and updates from the Association and provide a platform that allows other residents the opportunity to provide feedback and suggestions on items related to their neighborhood and / or the Association. People who serve on the Neighborhood Representative Committee can also organize neighborhood events, oversee the use of annual voluntary contributions, earn points towards neighborhood of the year, and work with the Association using the Matching Funds initiative on projects specific for your neighborhood.
Neighborhood Representative Committee members are elected annually by the property owners in their neighborhoods, and they serve a one-year term starting on January 1, 2027.
If you are interested in serving on this committee, you must submit an application to FCCSA by 5:00 PM on Friday, September 18, 2026.
