Kayak Fun on Brooks Lake

Come have fun on Brooks Lake by checking-out a kayak at the Oyster Creek Boathouse located at 15910 Creekbend Drive, Sugar Land. The boathouse is open Saturdays and Sundays from April 12 through October 26.
Hours of operation:
• Saturdays & Sundays- 8 a. m.- 12 p. m. & 4 p. m.- 7 p. m.
• July 4, and Labor Day- 8 a. m.-12 p. m. & 4 p. m.- 7 p. m.
You must be 21 years of age or older to check-out a kayak; rowers under 21 must be accompanied by an adult. There is no cost to check-out a kayak for FCCSA members. Must have a valid digital pool pass.
Pool Parties
Pool party requests are done through Greater Houston Pool Management. All pools except Austin Park, The Lakes and the Aquatic Center Fitness Pool are available to reserve for private pool parties. There is a 14-day( 2 week) advance requirement for booking, reserving and payment for all pool parties. Visit www. greaterhoustonpool. com, click on Pool Services, select Pool Parties. At kayak check-out you will be required to leave a driver’ s license and sign a liability form. Non-residents may rent a kayak by buying a pass at the FCCSA office. A daily one-use pass is $ 10.00 per person with a season pass cost of $ 50.00 per person. Reservations are not accepted as kayaks are checked-out on a first come, first serve basis. Don’ t forget to bring along sun block and drinking water! There are no pets allowed in the kayaks. Life preservers are provided and must be worn by all participants.
