Volunteers Needed to Serve on FCCSA Committees in 2026
Interested in Serving on the FCCSA Board of Directors?
Did you know that FCCSA has various committees that members can participate in throughout the year? New volunteers are appointed to committees every year in January at the first board meeting of the year. The First Colony Community Services Association( FCCSA) Board of Directors governs the affairs of the Association and operates under FCCSA Governance Policies. The Board of Directors is a group of seven members, with two positions up for election this year. The term is three years, beginning December 2, 2026. The Board, in conjunction with staff, is responsible for participating in long-range planning and developing goals for the Association.
FCCSA recognizes that volunteering time for a Board position is a major decision. This is another excellent opportunity to become involved with the community and share in the decision-making processes of First Colony.
Members interested in becoming a Board candidate can visit www. firstcolony. org under Resources / Elections to obtain a Board member application. Deadline for application is 5:00 pm on Friday, September 18, 2026.
