Paper Shredding and Electronics Waste Recycling Event
Saturday, September 27th from 9 am – Noon
FCCSA is hosting a FREE paper shredding and electronics recycling event on Saturday, September 27th from 9 am – 12 pm.
Acceptable shredding items include: all paper, file folders, hanging files, notepads, and envelopes. There is no need to remove staples or paper clips.
Acceptable Electronics recycling items include laptops, desktop computers, cell phones, charging cables and flat screen monitors, tv’ s and printers.
Unacceptable shredding items include photographs, floppy disks, diskettes, CD’ s, plastics, hanging file folders, folders with metal fasteners, binder rings, x-rays, hard drives, and any other non-paper materials.
Unacceptable electronics recycling items are CRT monitors or Televisions.
Please make sure that these items are removed from your shredding documents. Drops are limited to six( 6) boxes or garbage bags per FCCSA household. Boxes & plastic bags need to be taken back with you.
This is a drive through only event, we ask that you stay in your car. The shredding trucks will be at the FCCSA large parking lot, and the electronics recycling truck will be parked in the smaller parking lot that faces Austin Park Elementary. The address is 4350 Austin Parkway, Sugar Land.
