April Landscaping Tips
• Fertilize your lawns with a slow-release fertilizer if you have not already done so.
• Begin your fire ant control. Use a broadcast ant bait on your entire yard and spot treat any mounds that you see.
• Plant your citrus trees.
• Fertilize roses and water in well. Repeat every 4 to 6 weeks for the remainder of the growing season.
• Be vigilant with weed control. Mulch your beds to help discourage weeds and to conserve moisture.
• Prune your plants to remove any freeze damage. Cut them back until you see green.
