As H&M’s CEO Karl-Johan Persson said, “In order to remain a successful business, we need to keep growing and at the same time respect the planetary boundaries”, this is such an important statement because if we carry on being such a demanding consumer driven society we will not only continue the growth of ethical issues such as child labour and unbelievable low wages people cannot survive on but it could be as soon as 2050 when we have used up all of our planets resources, and simply out grow our own planet, all in the name of fashion.
