Insight Asia Special Message O nce again, Thailand is hosting Food ingredients (Fi) Asia 2017, the 22 nd edition of Asia’s leading food ingredients exhibition brought in by UBM Asia Thailand. The exhibition is back with more than what it has offered in the past. Year after year, as the food and beverages (F&B) industry continues to grow, Fi Asia keeps expanding 25% annually over the last four years, maintaining its position as the most important business meeting place for the Southeast Asian F&B industry. With recovering world economy and continuing growth rates in a number of emerging markets, the F&B industry is expected to enjoy higher consumer demands, enabling it to rise through any challenges. Thailand, internationally known as the “Kitchen of the World”, is undoubtedly a perfect venue for Fi Asia. The country’s culinary scene is blessed with abundant resources, expertise and global recognition for its high industry standards. Meanwhile, “Innovation Zone” keeps participants updated with new ingredients in a conveniently arranged location, whilst “Discovery Tour” will encourage everyone to take a self-guided tour to discover ingredient solutions to any product development challenges.
