New technology for bioactive berry powders
New products to be launched by Ajinomoto Co., (Thailand) Ltd.
this year consist of both taste and texture enhancers which are:
1. Savorboost™ - A new clean label yeast extract that delivers
Umami or Kokumi taste.
a. Savorboost™ F (Full) delivers both umami and kokumi
to your dishes, providing a full flavor that contributes to
overall enhancement and complexity.
b. Savorboost™ K (Kokumi) This highly functional,
technologically advanced yeast extract delivers complex
flavor continuity and roundness with no distinct yeast flavor.
c. Savorboost™ U (Umami) is excellent way to deliver umami
impact and other delicious flavor characteristics to savory \
products.
2. ACTIVA® TG-SR-MH is newly developed HALAL certified
enzyme preparation for surimi based products.
Berries contain multitudes of health promoting compounds and for
the industry, high quality and trustworthy berry products containing
bioactive components in the advertised levels are a must. Berry
powders produced with the BERRYSHIELD™ Technology have an
increased diversity of bioactive compounds such as polyphenols,
including flavonoids, and they stay protected.

products at very low usage rates. This product applies for both
cooked products. (Sausage, ham, etc.) and uncooked products.
