National Cycle VStream Windscreens

“ ONE SIZE FITS ALL ,” said no motorcyclist ever when referring to windscreens . On a motorcycle such as a Harley-Davidson Road Glide , some riders want a cool , tinted lower screen with a cruiserish look , others want a tall screen for touring and still others something in between . National Cycle offers all three , so that you can change from one mode to the other within 3-5 minutes . National Cycle polycarbonate screens also promise great scratch resistance and higher durability through its unique approach to wind control and material development .
At 9 inches in height , the Low VStream exudes an aggressive cruiser look . The dark tint is almost opaque , but it doesn ’ t interfere with vision . Windblast is such that at highway speeds with my modular helmet on , face shield down , I could barely hear the radio in the headset at normal volume . There was far less turbulence around the helmet area than a competitor ’ s screen that is about 4 inches taller , however , and this National Cycle Low screen is great for around town and provides a “ bad boy ” touring / cruiser look . The lower edge did not quite match the fairing shape and left a small gap between the bottom of the screen and the fairing .
The Medium Touring screen is 12.5 inches in height and appears slightly shorter than a stock Road Glide Ultra screen . The medium tint is easy to see through , even in dark conditions . Headset sound was fine until speeds approached 70 mph , then there was too much buffeting at forehead level . The direct line of sight is either over the
