Harley-Davidson ’ s 115th anniversary celebration , held in Milwaukee , Wisconsin , over Labor Day weekend in 2018 , drew thousands of people from around the world for rides , parades , parties , concerts , factory tours , races and the public debut of the LiveWire electric motorcycle . During Flat Out Friday , thousands packed the stands of UWM ’ s Panther Arena for indoor flat track racing on the concrete floor , which was sprayed with Dr . Pepper soda syrup to provide grip . There were thrills and spills in the Boonies class ( pull-start mini-bikes ), the Goofball class ( won by a guy dressed like Prince on a purple cruiser ) and the Hooligan Sportster class . But the most inspiring moment of the night was when 78-year-old Chuck Dickerson , dressed in Evel Knievel-inspired stars-and-stripes leathers , came from behind to win the main event in the Brakeless class .
