Occasionally the strap escapes from the brass ring , and it ’ s a real pain trying to feed the strap back through the ring with gloves on . To prevent that , when taking the gloves off , I ’ ve gotten in the habit of loosening the strap and then re-securing the hook-and-loop so it won ’ t accidentally pull through the ring .
