matters
Dear All,
I hope you enjoy this first Fastflow
Matters of 2014. When we sat down to
consider what to put in it, we were
pleasantly surprised to see how much
good news there was to report.
The Business Update reveals that the
volume of infrastructure maintenance
work on the pipeline services side has
increased slightly and our contract with
Hartlepool Water has been extended.
Congratulations go to all those who
helped our main client – NWL – carry
off the Utility of the Year Award; a
tremendous achievement.
Energy Services’ start to the year has
exceeded expectations with several
schemes underway – including the first
for the National Grid’s Integrated
Security Solutions programme – which
is in County Durham.
Fastflow has a smart new website –
now featuring SMARTflow – to help
promote the business, so there is a
great deal to look forward to in the
months ahead.
The employee focus this time is on
Andy Newton, whilst there are a couple
of articles on systems and methods to
ensure safe and efficient driving.
Speaking of health and safety, there’s a
reminder of our occupational health
screening programme as well as
updates on the People’s Pension,
WaterAid and of course, the ‘pats on
the back’
With new opportunities on a number of
fronts, I am sure there will be more
good news in our pipelines to report
soon. Meanwhile, remember this is your
newsletter and we would welcome
ideas and contributions from you for
inclusion. If you have a message or a
story, just contact Rob Angus, HR
Manager at Parsons Road,
Washington.
