FASHION X STYLE

FO: Tell us a little bit about yourself and where you live.

Steven Onoja was born and raised in Nigeria in 1989 and now resides where fashion reigns king. At my tender age I discover my love for art, where I immediately started developing my interest toward painting. I worked in a gallery developing my skills then did several competitions In Art. Now living In New York City with the explosion of menswear and Art, what I do is provided the vision from an urban perspective, Effortless Style and look to connect with creative Individuals.

FO: What are some of your favorite boutiques that you must visit in your area or when you go shopping?

The local thrift store usually tops my list. Men are finally starting to care! What I mean by that is there was a certain era where men totally disregarded the amount of effort and care their wardrobes needed. My favourite era of menswear as far as suiting would’ve had to been the 1920’s. Men really cared and about their wardrobes and their day to day clothes. Somewhere along that line men’s care slowly deteriorated, but nowadays I’ve seen a huge growth in effort men put into shopping or getting custom clothing made. At the moment I am a huge fan of Bar 3, well tailored suits and i’m currently working on a campaign with them Setting the bar. 4.What sets your style apart from other personal style bloggers? This are three simply principles I go by.

FO: What sets your style apart from other personal style bloggers?

This are three simply principles I go by. Know what you are doing Love what you are doing And believe in what you are doing

FO: What inspired you to start your blog?

It’s my passion. Ever since I was a young kid I was always fascinated by combining different colors, and painting. I denied my mom access to pick my clothes at a young age to say the least. The more time that flew by, the more I became conscious on what I wore, I was infatuated with suiting. It was worst then any drug addiction I thought, I started putting more effort into the clothes I prepared for work then work it self! That’s when I finally realized I found my calling. As an artist, style is a different platform to express myself without using brush,

colors and canvas.
