What sets your style apart from other personal style bloggers?
The menswear blogging community is so small so we all pretty much work with one another. Some of them are my best friends! I studied at one of the best schools for fashion plus I worked at magazines like GQ, and now Bloomberg Pursuits. I have both industry and street cred.
Whats some tips on building a following?
Everyone says to be authentic, yes that's true, but BE CONSISTENT. I saw the most readers and followers when I was posting 5 outfits a week. It's a lot of work and dedication, but it's worth it
Where do you live currently ?
I currently live in New York! In addition to running my blog I'm also the market editor at Bloomberg Pursuits. I'm also a twin!
What got you into blogging ?
Well, I was studying accounting at Baruch college and I knew I wanted to work in menswear. If I got a dollar for every time someone told me that I should work in fashion I would be richer than the powerball winner. Ok, probably not, but you get what I mean. At the same time there was this new era and an introduction to this group of stylish ladies called bloggers. I thought I should start blog to use as an escape from accounting. 6 months later I transferred to FIT to study marketing and really dedicated my free time to the blog. I love it.
What's your end goal for your blog and social media presence?
For the blog-‐ I love to create, and this year I want to do something different. I can't share what that is just yet, but 2016 is going to be a good year! For social presence-‐ I want to do good. There's so much hatred and chaos going on in the world and I want to promote peace and happiness.
