William "BakeShow" Baker hails from Alton, Illinois. He and his family moved to Minnesota in 1985. This 70’s baby grew into a man passionate about music. In the 90’s Baker helped form a group called Straight Homiez and did many performances in the Midwest. The group was known for its heavyhitting beats and distinctive lyrics, as well as energetic shows. Baker’s passion of music moved from on the stage, to in the studio as a Producer/Vice President and help create Mainstream Music Production Inc. Mainstream Music became the 'Bad Boys' of the Twin Cities.
