Ms. Natalie Morrow attended a Black Film festival in Florida and was inspired to create one in the Twin Cities. She was overwhelmed with talented filmmakers of color as well as how educating the event was with regards to Black History. Natalie Morrow founded the Twin Cities Black Film Festival(TCBFF) in 2002 in Minneapolis Minnesota. Today the Twin Cities Black Film Festival receives over 100 application requests to volunteer for the festival. TCBFF gives back to community by volunteering at other local events and also providing the opportunities for advancement to residents of the Twin Cities.
