heard it before: it isn’t always what
you know but it’s who you know, and
this can certainly prove true. Keep a
connections diary of everyone you
speak to on jobs, they could be an
important contact later on. It can
also be handy to jot down small
things about them, like if they have
children or who they are married
to. Showing a small interest
in someone’s life can really
go a long way in
helping
you to collaborate again.
