Oxford Street VS New Bond Street
Oxford Street's target customer is tourists, local shoppers, workers and college students studying in the area. The area is very busy and full of shoppers at all times throughout the day. Oxford Street attracts all types of customers and it is in Central London so it is very easy to get to. You can get there by all means of transport; even via City Airport. There is lots of competition along Oxford Street as many of the shops sell similar items. This would be a great place to rent out a shop as there is always someone walking by. The footfall would be very high as people don't generally go to Oxford Street to shop in one specific shop.
New Bond Street's target customer is people with a high income and tourists. This area is not as busy because the shops are all high-end. The type of customer that would shop there is mainly adults as there are no children's shops there. It is in Central London so there are good transport links to get there. There is not much competition there as the shops are unique and expensive. It would be expensive to rent a shop on this street and you would need to have a shop that fits in with the shops already in the area. There isn't as much footfall however the people that shop in the area tend to stay in that area.
