A professional,married mother, just having given birth to a third daughter, Arukah was birthed. Glenda Samuel sought designs for herself and her girls which were not too costly yet stylish and moderate. The Arukah line represents simplicity, elegance and West Indian.
The journey started just two years ago when Glenda attended a 6-week introduction to sewing class. Her zeal and natural tact increased her desire to continue. She then learnt techniques with DSC's Fashion Design instructor Ruth Kosowan and what stands before you today is raw passion...a simple love, with raw skills.
