Supermodel and style icon Cara Delevingne has took to Instagram to address claims that the Victoria Secret Panel labelled her as ‘bloated’ meaning she was left out of the line- up for the 2014 show in London. The model walked for Victoria Secret in 2013 but was left out the lineup for 2014 which the tabloids soon spun round to accuse the panel of calling Cara ‘bloated’. The model responded by posting a letter from Victoria secret confirming no such accusations were made and invited her to walk the 2016 show in Paris. She captioned it ‘it’s shameless to discuss woman’s bodies just to sell papers #bloated’
Victoria Secret Model Jasmine Tookes is to wear the $3 million Fantasy Bra at the 2016 Paris show. Victoria secret angel Jasmin Tookes will be wearing the bright night Fantasy Bra which was designed by Eddie Borgo featuring 9,000 gems with diamonds and emeralds in 18kt gold. Jasmine was surprised with the honor while being filmed for the VS Instagram paged and has recently took to Instagram in a long paragraph of gratitude and honor for the opportunity.
American Apparel has filed for bankruptcy for the second time in the US. It first filed for bankruptcy in October 2015 but have recently filed again after a continuing decline in sales. A Canada based activewear retailer has offered to buy the property rights to American apparel but won’t actually buy the stores, this is still being decided by American Apparel. The retailer is expected to operate as usual in the sales process in the meantime.
You will soon be able to shop on Instagram after an announcement that there will be a shiny new shoppable feature from next week. People have been selling their clothes on Instagram for a while now and after Facebook have got on board of the shopping button as have Instagram. Bad news however is that for the time being it will only be available on some devices in the US to ‘test the waters’ as it were, but all being well, shopping and selling on Instagram will soon be a thing.
