Joe Cavaliere 7 Frankie Lane North Babylon, NY 11703 631-321-1184 [email protected] Brief Background: My name is Joe Cavaliere I am from North Babylon, NY. I am going to college to study Sports Management. I hope to come out of school and land a job as a sports agent and or coach. I lived in North Babylon all my life, as have my parents. I am really into sports especially basketball. I am a very dedicated and committed person to what I do or what I want to do. Distinct Personality Characteristic: I believe my distinct personality characteristic would be that I am very respectful and kind to others. I show respect to everyone I know and or meet. I am great with meeting new people and talking to people. I like to work with people and help them out as much as I can. Being respectful and kind is just how I was raised and how I believe everyone should be. Nobody wants someone that’s going to be disrespectful or have an attitude and it really hurts them when they have to deal with people at work. Having respect can take you very far in life and I am happy that’s the way I am. Strength and Weakness: My greatest strength is that I am very dedicated and hardworking. I don’t ever give up on things and when I get a task I like to get it done as quick as possible and move on to the next thing. Dedication is a big thing to me because if I am going to take on something or start something I know I really will finish it even when it gets tough I stick it out and get it done. My weakness would be that sometimes I can get a little impatient and that sometimes causes me to get a little frustrated. I been working on this and slowing down in some of my work and just relaxing no matter how hard it gets. Its something that I been working on and will continue to work on. Challenge that I Overcame: I think a big challenge I overcame was getting into the college I really wanted to get into. It’s not easy and it takes three solid years of good and hard work to accomplish something like this. You need the dedication to your schoolwork and all your tests to get in. I learned from this experience that hard work really does pay off in the end and it’s worth all the headaches and tests and homework because getting in was one of the best feelings I ever had. It made me a wiser person because I know what I have to continue to do in the future for good things to come my way and that is to stay focused and do what you have to do just work hard and be committed to your school work.
