Allan Corfield Design Expert, Homebuilding & Renovating
Allan is an award-winning RIBA Chartered Architect who has overseen over 600 low-energy projects across the UK. Since 2009, he’ s grown his specialist practice, AC Architects, into a 20-person team. He also founded AC Structures, a leading engineering business. Allan is a leading expert in modern construction, with a monthly column in Homebuilding & Renovating Magazine and delivering expert talks at various shows.
David Hilton Eco Expert, Homebuilding & Renovating
David has grown up with energy efficient design, heating systems and renewables. His family owned a business in South Africa manufacturing Solar systems and Air source heat pumps from 1979. David is a regular contributor to Homebuilding and Renovating Magazine and has an MA in Sustainable Architecture, is a Gassafe renewables and ventilation installer, and has over 35 years experience in the industry.

With over 30 years’ experience as an interior design professional, property renovator, and kitchen specialist, Julia specialises in interior transformations that uplift and energise wellbeing. Julia is best known as the interior designer on BBC1’ s DIY SOS and is also a regular on ITV1’ s 60 Minute Makeover and ITV’ s‘ Rebuild Our Home’. She has contributed to‘ GMTV’,‘ This Morning’,‘ Live with Gabby’,‘ BBC Breakfast’ and the‘ Alan Titchmarsh Show’.
Mark Stevenson is one of the UK’ s premier self-build experts. Vice Chair of the Structural Timber Association, he has built several houses for himself and has many years of experience working on housing developments.
