The 2017 Agri-Expo is set to be the biggest yet with a myriad of new exhibitors joining the show to take advantage if its growth and recognition as one of the “must see” events in the agricultural event diary

Karen Wheeler, Director of Pitchfork Events and main organiser of Agri-Expo, said it was a testament to how far this show has come since its launch in 2011. Agri-Expo has received strong interest from European machinery manufacturers this year, confirming the South East as an important gateway into the UK for some major names in agricultural equipment.

2017 will also see increased numbers of exhibitors from the landscape, amenity and plant hire sectors, confirming Agri-Expo as the leading land-based industry show for the South East. We will once again be hosting a range of seminars and meetings, as well as a dedicated area for Precision and Farming Technologies.

It can be difficult for farmers and growers to evaluate the benefits of new equipment just by looking through a catalogue, and shopping around is difficult if you need to visit several different dealerships to compare what is on offer. Another area where Agri-Expo offers an extra dimension is in professional services, where visitors have the opportunity to talk to rural planners, agents, contractor and law firms, which in our view can be invaluable. Being able to chat to the experts about a new project without making a formal appointment to go and see them is really useful. There are very few events where visitors can see not only the latest releases and machinery developments but have the opportunity to discuss all aspects of their farming and rural business AND restock the workshop all at the same time!

Headline sponsor NWF Fuels will be at the heart of the show to present its fuel supplies and services and discuss how they can support agricultural and rural businesses.

As well as giving exhibitors an opportunity to promote their businesses, Agri-Expo (SE) is keen to promote education, training, business development, diversification opportunities and collaborative projects. Through the official show website the organisers will work over the coming year to support education and training news and opportunities as well as highlighting other industry developments and announcements as and when they arise.

A warm welcome is extended to the townspeople and farming community alike to celebrate the biggest Agri-Expo ever!
