FEATURE role in the future of food in the world By Nita Karume W orld Food Prize Laureate and President of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Akinwumi Adesina, was speaking last year at the FAO headquarters when he asserted that Africa has a major role to play as a determining factor in the future of food in the world. According to Mr. Adesina, Africa is in need of disciplined investments as opposed to aid.
