The Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber
of Commerce is a bi-state, regional
federation of more than 2,000 private,
public and nonprofit member firms
representing nearly 100,000 people.
The largest local chamber in North Dakota
and Minnesota, the Chamber advocates
for a strong metropolitan community and
supports the interests of its members,
which are located in Cass and Clay
Counties and beyond.

Fargo Rotary
The Fargo Rotary Club is proud to
continue a tradition of service above
self. This service above self is visible in
the local community, in the region and
internationally. Fargo Rotary strives to help
the youth of the FM community through
many projects.

This eight-week Emerging Prairie program
is open to interns working for any
organization. Participating interns are
put into small groups for weekly sessions
that focus on developing soft skills,
fostering friendships among the interns
and engaging them in the community. In
addition, there are also four large group
sessions where interns hear from leaders
in the community.

Community Vitality, IBID serves as NDSU's
"front door" and the first point of contact
for accessing the specialized technical
expertise available through the NDSU
campus departments.

Intern Experience

The mission of the GGFMEDC is to grow
and diversify the economy in Cass County,
N.D., and Clay County, Minn., through the
attraction, retention and expansion of
primary-sector employers.
The IDC aims to build the capacity of
businesses and economic skills within the
FM immigrant population, which ultimately
leads to economic self-sufficiency. They
bring immigrants together who have a
common goal in caring about the well
being of others and their environmental
surroundings. They assist in microbusiness development that benefits
both neighborhood and community
development.
