AAF-ND is one of 210 local affiliates of
the American Advertising Federation and
includes clubs from Minnesota, North

The club is open to anyone in a
communication-related field. They are
corporate communicators, public relations
practitioners, journalists, freelance writers,
designers and multimedia specialists,
advertising sales representatives,

Emerging Leaders
The Small Business Administration's
(SBA) Emerging Leaders initiative is a
federal training initiative that specifically
focuses on executives of businesses
poised for growth in historically challenged
communities. The initiative provides
these executives with the organizational
framework, resource networl and
motivation required to build sustainable
businesses and promote the economic
development within urban communities.
The Fargo program is one of more than 50
across the United States.

Emerging Prairie
Emerging Prairie's mission is to connect
and celebrate the entrepreneurial
ecosystem in Fargo-Moorhead. They do so
by operating a wide variety of events and
initiatives such as Drone Focus, the Prairie
Den coworking space, and 1 Million Cups
Fargo which is the largest and most active
1 Million Cups program in the country.
They also operate an online publication
that highlights the region's entrepreneurs
and innovators who are turning Fargo into
a flourishing tech hub.
