Getting there : Terengganu or Kuantan is 1 hour by air from KL . For Tioman Island and Pangkor Laut travel by road from KL followed by a ferry journey . Desaru Coast is a 30 minute ferry ride or 2 hours by road from Singapore . Private road transfers are included with all onward boat journeys on a shared basis .

Best time to go : For Terengganu , Kuantan and Desaru Coast the hot dry season is usually April-September / October , but you can also expect sunshine during the rainy season of November- January . For Tioman , March-October is best as during the monsoon months of November-January many places close . Pangkor Laut is a year round destination with high temperatures and rainfall fairly evenly distributed throughout the year .
