Borneo Beaches
Find your slice of tropical paradise
When touring and exploring is complete, we highly recommend rounding off your Borneo adventure beside a gorgeous beach. With an array of resorts, tucked away on idyllic islands or along seemingly endless stretches of sand, every beach lover will find a patch of paradise in Borneo. In Sabah, beautiful sandy shorelines include the beaches of Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park, Tanjung Aru Beach and Pantai Dalit Beach, while Sarawak tempts with Teluk Bandung. Comprising five islands( including Gaya), Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park brags idyllic white sand beaches and crystalclear waters whose thriving vibrant reefs and incredible marine life are a paradise for divers and snorkellers. Other sporting and wilderness activities include kayaking through the protected mangroves and trekking amidst the ancient rainforest. Taking its name from the casuarinas or aru trees that fringe the fine sands, Tanjung Aru gives you a ringside seat to amazing sunsets, while exquisite Pantai Dalit offers seemingly endless expanses of soft white sands. Sarawak’ s Teluk Bandung inviting sands face the South China Sea and enjoy a stunning backdrop of majestic Mount Santubong as well as dense tropical rainforest.
