This full day tour gets underway with an early flight to Sandakan and on arrival you will transfer to the Sepilok Orang-Utan Rehabilitation Centre. Here, you get to observe these endearing creatures being rehabilitated to become wild in their natural habitat. Take a guided walk through the forest to the feeding platform where the animals are fed twice a day. You’ ll also visit the outdoor nursery to learn about the management of the juvenile orang-utans. Continue to the neighbouring Sun Bear Conservation Centre, where rescued animals enjoy life in the enclosed forest. After lunch sit back and enjoy a drive through Sandakan city before the return flight back to Kota Kinabalu.
