Premier Recommends Dining at an underwater restaurant: The Maldives is known for it’ s amazing underwater world and what better way to see it than while you dine! See OBLU SELECT Lobigili and OBLU XPERIENCE Ailafushi for details.
Swimming alongside manta rays: The best time to see these majestic creatures is from May to November, with peak viewing from late July to early October when Hanifaru Bay becomes a feeding ground for hundreds of manta rays and whale sharks. Our featured NH Collection Maldives Reethi Resort is perfectly located for this.
Viewing an underwater‘ waterfall’: Hike up Mauritius’ Le Morne Brabant and at the top you’ ll get incredible views of the island and a very rough shape of the waterfall. For a bird’ s eye view, a helicopter sightseeing tour will whisk you over this natural phenomenon.
Visiting a rum distillery: When in Mauritius, we recommend a visit to La Rhumerie de Chamarel rum distillery for a behind the scenes look at how some of the world’ s finest rum is produced.
Island hopping: The Seychelles are just the place for island hopping. If time is short, it’ s possible to book a day trip from Mahé to La Digue, where along with stunning palm-fringed beaches, there’ s rare wildlife and an off-the-beaten-track feel. Another recommendation is a Seychelles island cruise where you have the chance to walk alongise giant land tortoises.
