DAY 1 Bali beach hotel / Yogyakarta
Transfer from your hotel to Denpasar airport for a flight to Yogyakarta . On arrival meet your guide and commence your sightseeing tour . Experience the constant bustle of Javanese life as you head for Borobodur Temple , approximately 90 minutes drive north . Dating from the 8th century , this huge Buddhist temple consists of six concentric outer terraces and three circular terraces above them . With its lush mountain backdrop this must surely rank among the world ’ s most impressive sights . A visit is also included to the 9th century Hindu temple complex at Prambanan , which although largely in ruins , still retains fine contours and intricate stone carvings .
DAY 2 Yogyakarta / Bali beach hotel
This morning enjoy an additional tour of the artistic city of Yogyakarta . Visit the Sultan ’ s Palace , seat of Java ’ s most powerful royal family , a factory producing Java ’ s finest batik and a centre where the famous Wayang Kulit leather puppets are painstakingly crafted by hand . All too soon it ’ s time to return to the airport for your return flight to Bali .

DAY 1 Bali / Bromo
Fly to Surabaya and on arrival meet your guide for a sightseeing tour of the city , including the Arab Quarter , Chinese temple , Kalimas Harbour and House of Sampoerna ( Cigarette Museum ). Proceed to Bromo .
DAY 2 Bromo / Surabaya
Early morning excursion by jeep to Penanjaken viewpoint to see the sunrise ( weather permitting ). Continue down to the crater floor to the “ sand sea ” and then onwards by horseback to reach the base of Mt Bromo . Climb the 245 steps to the rim crater for a beautiful panorama before returning to the hotel and travelling to Surabaya .
DAY 3 Surabaya / Yokyakarta
Transfer to the railway station to board the “ Sancaka ” train for a four and a half hour journey through interesting Javanese countryside to Yogyakarta . On arrival , spend the afternoon at the amazing Prambanan Temple , the most elegant Hindu temple complex in Indonesia .
DAY 4 Yogyakarta / Bali
Visit the Sultan ’ s Palace and nearby Taman Sari ( Water Palace ruin built by the first Sultan ) before proceeding to Borobudur , one of the most impressive Buddhist shrines in South East Asia . Admire the beautifully carved stone temples and Buddha images before transferring to the airport for your late afternoon flight to Bali . Upon arrival you will be transferred to your chosen hotel .

DAY 1 Bali beach hotel / Rinca Island
Fly from Denpasar to Labuan Bajo where you will be met and transferred to the harbour to board your boat to Rinca Island , home of Komodo National Park .
A ranger will guide you as you trek through the park , keeping your eyes peeled for wildlife . Komodo National Park is home to deer , buffalo , wild boar and long-tailed macaque who feed on the various fruit , leaves , roots and grasses . Of course the park ’ s most famous residents are the Komodo dragons , the largest monitor lizards in the world . They are a top predator and all the park ’ s animals are potential prey for the dragons .
In the afternoon you will cruise back to Labuan Bajo with the opportunity to swim and snorkel at Bidadari Island . Overnight aboard the boat .
DAY 2 Rinca Island / Bali beach hotel
After breakfast , you will disembark and return to Labuan Bajo airport for your flight back to Bali .
