> CAPTAIN’S TRANSMISSION > ENTER DATA DATE: 16/5/2015 > ENTER STARDATE: 1216.5 > ENTER VESSEL NAME: SS FAR HORIZONS > ENTER TRANSMISSION: From the Captain’s Chair: Another fabulous issue is here! May 2015 showcases new and old authors & artists who have joined us to make Far Horizons better and brighter. We continue with Jim King’s Trouble at the Docks and Mike Bene’s Star Seers, Book reviews and interviews, and art from some of the fantastic artists we have kidnapped… er… I mean ‘borrowed’ (Don’t worry, they came of their own free will after we cast the spell of compulsion, so they’re all good!) We also have a brand spanking sparkly new website on WordPress! After we were unable to update the Wix website due to technical difficulties (an alien hijacked the site and changed the passwords!) So please, check out our WordPress website: https://farhorizonsmagazine.wordpress.com. We are looking forward to another fantastic issue next month, where we hope to bring you Dragons and Aliens and Werebears… Oh MY! STACEY WELSH, CAPTAIN, SS FAR HORIZONS. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Publisher Stacey Welsh Editing Pete Sutton Kimberly Nugent Production Ana Marija Meshkova Valery Riddle Art Content Stephen Briggs Druscilla Morgan Valery Riddle Rose Campbell Rachel Bostwick Frostbo (stock image courtesy) Nase Proofreading Valery Riddle If you would like to contribute to Far Horizons, please feel free to contact us at info.far.horizons@gmail.com Contributions can be artistic in nature or literary. **Submission Guidelines** We accept : *Fast Fiction (up to 1200 words) *Short Stories (1200-2500 MAX) *Poems *Artwork Submissions should follow basic formatting: Times New Roman 12 point font Indent of 1.25 Standard paragraphing (New paragraphs for dialogue) UK English spelling is preferred ** PUBLISHING DEADLINES ** Writing submissions should be submitted on or by the 1st of the month.
