CB: Continuing the BBC and Ice Cream DNA and expanding on it and doing some very fun collaborations. We did the Despicable me 2 collaboration and we have a Spongebob collaboration coming out as well. So just a lot of fun projects and a continuation of the quirkiness of our brand. TR: What are your career goals for the near future? CB: I like to share knowledge and experience. It means a lot to me to be able to give back to up and coming designers and help them in their own path with their design skill and brand. I want to be a teacher and continue to grow as a creative person. TR: Out of all the places you have traveled, where do they have the most unique and innovative sense of style? CB: I’d have to say Japan. I love how they interpret global style and own it. I think that in the Japanese culture they are great at taking little things that may not mean so much to us and make a world out of it. I also enjoy being in London, I like the Saddle Row scene, the craftsmanship and the heritage of fine tailoring. TR: What would we find on your iPod right now? CB: I’m listening to this band Tame Impala from Australia. They are kind of “Beatles-esque,” real funky guys. Rock and roll but they definitely got some soul to them. I have Kanye on rotation, John Legend’s new album and I love old soul music. I’m an old school kind of guy. TR: Lastly, what advice would you give to any up and comers that want to do what you do? CB: Learn the craft. Truly do the science behind it. Find yourself somebody that you respect in the field and listen to their advice. It helps. It has helped me get to where I am today. And never burn a bridge.
